LouAnn had to admit that she was more than just a little nervous as she walked towards her very first class here at Hogwarts. Arithmancy, now that was a subject she wasn't half bad at. At least she wasn't as worried about this class as she was about Divination and Ancient Runes. Those two subjects had always been difficult for her, but she'd heard the professors who taught them were really good. Seeing that the door was open, LouAnn took a hesitant walk forward and entered the room, stopping for just a moment to admire the golden numbers floating throughout the area.

When she passed by the professor, LouAnn returned the woman's smile. "Hello, Professor. I'm LouAnn Purple," she quietly said, then turned to find an empty seat. She chose one that wasn't too far from where she was standing, so that she wouldn't have to wander throughout a room of fairly unfamiliar people. After getting comfortable, LouAnn sat quietly and waited for things to get started.
