She sat on the stool and the hat was placed on her head. It covered her eyes so she couldn't see a thing. As the hat started to talk she smiled in amazement. A talking hat! "I see a life of pain. Yes. There are secrets here that even you don't know. But your heart is pure and your courage great. GRYFFINDOR!" She looked around for someone to explain what that meant and after an explanation from the hat, she stepped down and let Akihiko try it on.
She was so happy to have Akihiko here with her. Without him, she would be the only one here who didn't know anything about magic.
Akihiko put on the hat and sat there. He looked at Anna as she stood at the bottom waiting for him. He really hoped that he was in the same house as her. Without him she would be taken advantage of. The hat began to speak, "I see that your heart is also pure like that girl. Such a clear mind and a dark past as well. You wish to protect her but your courage is too weak. Too weak to follow those secret desires deep within your heart. I know you wish to be near her but my judgement is never wrong. . . . RAVENCLAW!"
The smile on Anna's face was gone and the shock was present in his face too. He threw the hat off his head and went down to the tables. How could that stupid hat do this to him?!He erased the emotion off his face and went to Anna, said his goodbye and went to the Ravenclaw table. He really didn't want to be the next person to talk to him.
