Ginny watched Fred leave with some confusion. She slipped from Harry's embrace, giving him an apologetic look and pursing her lips a bit to send him a quiet, long-distance kiss. She crossed the room and broke up George's sullen mood by slipping her arms around his waist. "I'm sorry I made you worry. You know how I am... I'll listen to you next time."
"Yes... well," George wrapped his little sister in a crushing embrace. "I'm glad you're safe, Gin. I hate to think of anything happening to you. I want to protect you, and I thought I had failed."
Ginny kissed his cheek and patted his arm on her shoulder. "You can't take care of someone who won't let you. I'm sorry." She gave him a look to tell him she needed to speak to Fred, and his arms fell back to his sides. Ginny climbed the stairs, not knowing if George or Harry intended to follow her. Outside the twins' room, she knocked on the door. "Fred?"
