Sure, he was getting a bit angry, and he was on the verge of probably bringing her to tears but...she was in the middle of a meltdown. CLEARLY. Why else would she be saying such NONSENSE?

He was about to reply to Asher and tell him that he would stay with him when he suddenly heard Jack. And he sounded mad. something bad happened to him.

"What's wrong, Jack? You okay?" he called out, concerned. Then he turned towards him and saw Reese.
