Mina quietly followed the other students into the Great Hall. Her eyes widened in excitement. It was even more beautiful than she expected. Cautiously, she sat on the stool and looked out at the room as the hat was played on her head.
"Umm, a Bennet I see. Long time since one has graced the school. Pureblood, yes and cunning I can see. Likes adventure and oh, do I see a streak of nerve. But wants to prove oneself, right? Yet, I see a thirst for knowledge and growth. Where should I place you?" the sorting hat wondered. "Good in green or perhaps red but there is only one place for you....RAVENCLAW."
Letting go of the breathe she didn't even know she was holding, Mina smiled as the hot was removed from her head. Hopping off the stool, she made her way to her new family for her time at Hogwarts. |
