She paid attention! And she sure snapped out of it pretty quickly. Then again, waving one's hand in front of another's face would snap someone out of a trance pretty quickly. That's for sure. And pondering life, eh? What a strange...no, never mind. It's not strange, especially at a time like this. Nope! Very normal. Ahem.
"Hello, Becca Parker!! Nice to meet!" she said, grabbing her hand and shaking it. Yep...decision made: Make friends, but keep them few in number. "Fifth year, huh? ME, TOO!! I'm Lucy Dawn." she said, smiling her widest smile at her. Seems like that smile would be her trade-mark smile. Although, she had to admit...she wondered whether or not people seemed to be a bit frightened by it. Oh, well!! "Excited for the new term?" she asked excitedly. |
