I miss having my best friend sometimes". It had been a good summer overall. "And I just talked my grandparents into letting Sammi come live with us when term is over." he said smiling. Knowing that Sammi would be super excited.
He looked at Sarah. "No, really, I'm fine. Thanks though.". He smiled at her. He didn't want to offend her but he really didn't mind standing. Plus the boy got claustrophobic
While sitting fiddling with the bottom of her robes,Sarah noticed that Daisy seemed to be making a quiet getaway.Were they annoying her, or talking too much? She hoped not,but as the girl slipped out of the compartment before she could ask, she'd not know for a while.
Shrugging she turned her attention back to the conversation at hand: Mariel's lack of muggle knowledge.
"Oh absolutely," she smiled,winking over at her friend at the same time.
"I'm glad she had the chance to come visit, and that she decided to take Muggle Studies in school.It's always nice to broaden ones horizons." Oh boy she sounded...stupid...with that comment.Ones horizons? What was she, the Queen?
Shaking her head she carried on listening to Nathaniel as he spoke of his summer.
"Australia? How cool! I've never been that far.And it's nice that you all had fun." This being nice to him lark was actually quite easy.Surprisingly so.She was shocking herself.
"You have a best friend in Japan? Must be hard not seeing her, but boy you are international aren't you?!" Sarah laughed,meaning it as a compliment.Must be good to have friends everywhere.If only she did.The ones she used to have had drifted away after she started Hogwarts, due to the fact she couldn't tell where she was during term times.
Hearing about Sammi made her beam.Turning back to the girl,she leant against the window she was currently squashed into and smiled at her too.
"I bet you're looking forward to it huh?"
Well turns out he did want to sit down.That was ok, she didn't mind.More room for her.
"Well, ok, if you're sure," she smiled up at him,before turning and stretching one leg along the seat.It really was hard to move with these owl cages on the floor.
