Buuuuut enough about Jakey's health. Oh, not yet.

"Two times a day," the pink-haired boy nodded, speaking quite matter-of-factly. "It was the hospital's condition for letting me out," Jakers grinned, unaware he might have said anything that could alarm someone.

As the conversation moved on, Jake looked down at the girl's cat again and over to Lolcat, who was sleeping peacefully. Stupid sleep. "Sabrina, huh? That's a wicked-awesome name. I've never met any 'Sabrina's before," Jake explained, fidgeting as he tried to get comfortable. Well... to be honest, as soon as he managed that he'd probably fall asleep. Jakers hadn't slept the night before, having insisted to his foster mother that since it was his thirteenth birthday, he should have the chance to stay up all night.

And he did... so it looked like Jake's tradition of sleeping at every single feast wasn't dying this year.

Giggling at Sabrina's interpretation of his little charade, Jake then shook his head. "Nah, he was trying to strangle me."
The blonde was so relieved that Jake had finally let go of his neck and was not trying to strangle himself, that she almost didn't catch what he said about his ... err ... sugar allergies. As the Hufflepuff explained about his sugar issues, Sabrina bit her lip and wondered if it was really okay for her to eat something. All this sugar talk was constantly reminding her of how she had skipped breakfast and was actually starving. In fact, she totally missed his explaination of chemicals addling his brain.

Just one more frog? Maybe she could have the beans? How about pumpkin pie? Droobles? Anything?

'... it was the hospital's condition for letting me out.'

...

O.O

Sabrina stared at him stupidly. Was this boy SOOOOO hyper that he had to be detained in the hospital without two doses of calming draughts? "And what happened if you forget your two doses of calming draughts per day?" As soon as she asked the question, an image of a wild, bouncing bear came to her mind. She dissed the image. The boy was too small to be a bear. Well, he could be a baby bear. Instantly, the bear was replaced by a baboon and then it turned into a badger.

Maybe she didn't want to be around if Jake ever forgot his calming draughts. He seemed hyper as it is.

Unconciously, Sabrina started stroking Snowball again when the topic turned to their names. She really should keep that bag of sweet away from him. "Thank you." Well, at least this boy hasn't heard of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

The blonde blinked once again, not understanding the logic or reason behind such an action. "But weren't you trying to save him? Then why was he strangling you?"

Eh. Hufflepuffs were just weird.

No. Boys were weird.
