The maine coon growled and let out a small hiss as his owner held the white cloth to his face, not enjoying his time at all any more. "He's not usually this stupid, I swear. Are you?" Lettie added as she lifted the heavy cat high enough to meet her own eyes.
Ornlu's tail swished back and forth, and sign of annoyance.

Finally able to breath properly, Lettie looked towards the nice girl. "You're new to the school, right?" She asked, more like a statement, but not entirely rude. "I'm Leticia Dubois by the way, but you can call me Lettie, it sounds more fun." She held out her right hand to shake while her left was busy holding onto her cat.

Penelope smiled warmly at the older girl, who seemed to be quite nice, shook her hand, and said, "I'm pleased to meet you, Lettie. I do hope your cat will be okay. I'm sure I will have to play doctor to my cat at some point too. And yes, I am a new student." Penelope guessed her size must have given her away. She hoped it was that and not the butterflies she had been feeling making their presence known on her face. Penelope went back to calmly stroking Paisley to try to keep her and herself relaxed. She looked down and spoke again, a little more softly. "I must admit I am a little nervous." Looking back up, she asked Lettie, "What year is this for you? Do you still get nervous?"
