So she didn't mind doing a bit of mingling.
She looked up as the girl spoke again, and gave her a small, nervous grin, "I'm Song, Song Jin. I'm a fourth year Gryffindor, but technically new to this school. My father," she explained, "He got a job over here in England so we had to move here from South Korea. It's quite different here to where I come from. I'd never heard of pygmy puffs before I went to Wizard Wheezes,"
"Nice to meet you, Song," said Ella with a warm smile. "Well, I'm absolutely positive that you will
love it at Hogwarts. It's become like a second home to me. And my mum works at the Ministry, so I hardly ever see her anymore these days when I'm at home. And my dad died when I was ten. So it's really nice to have friends at Hogwarts. I'm sure you'll make lots of friends here. I'm glad I've met you."
"South Korea? Really? Cool!" said Ella enthusiastically. "What was it like there? My parents and I did a lot of traveling before I started coming to Hogwarts, but I've never been there. It's actually one of the only places I haven't been to."
