Gently he asks, as she looks at the necklace, "It wasn't that bad, was it? What kind of job did you have to get?" His face turning slightly pink, at the mention of OWL's, he nods.
"Ooo..." 'Gimme!' Leticia reached out and took hold of the necklace and examined it.
"Aww...that's so nice of you." She said as she pulled it over her head to wear it.
"Thanks."
Her hazel green eyes stared,
"It was AWFUL." She fidgeted with her new piece of jewelry.
"I had to get up at eight o' clock every morning, well, every other day. And then I had to ride my bike to the general store in town. My dad knows the owner, and I had to wait on people in the cafe section of the market. Do you know what kind of weird people they have going through that place? All those strange tourists kept asking me for things and I didn't know where they were! I learned where everything was placed over time...but really...pfft." She finally gave up on trying to summon the coins into her hand and simply picked them up off of the ground.
"It wasn't that bad towards the end, and at least the coffee and pastries smelled lovely, but I dunno. I think I'd like not dealing with so many picky people all the time." Lettie looked towards the front of the line and sighed.
"How did your OWLS go anyway? I suppose I have to take them this term."
