Rolling his eyes at Woodson's usual politeness when he thought both LouAnn and his brother were looking the other way, Sebastian followed the girl. But only because he really wanted to get out of this corridor, not because he needed her to find a place to stay or whatever. He was a Whitcomb .. they needed no one.

They followed no one.

It didn't take much walking for Sebastian to realise his earlier assumption had been correct and with an annoyed huff, he turned to look at his brother. "I told you, no first class." Fair eyebrow raised upwards to his forehead, he simply shook his head.

Just when he thought things couldn't get worse.

Miss LouAnn had already found them a compartment, it seemed, and - not expecting much - Sebastian peeked inside. Just like he had thought, it was a basic compartment .... for war time! What was this? England hadn't gotten in another war, had it? They still could afford some basic comforts. "I don't hope to find anything in here that smells better than this." Sebastian commented before pushing the door open and slipping inside without another word.

With another shake of his head, Woodson offered LouAnn a polite smile, "I think this will do fine," he said, just wanting to get out of that horrible corridor. He didn't even want to think about how many people - dirty people - had brushed up against him.

Once again, he was expecting some ort of protest from Bastian and once again, his brother left him feeling surprised. "We're not used to travelling ... like this," Woodson explained, inclining towards LouAnn and lowering his tones as he watched in slight amusement, Sebastian enter the compartment.

Straightening, Woodson stepped back to allow LouAnn past first.

Always ladies first.
Although the corridors were sort of crowded, LouAnn managed to squeeze to the side to allow Sebastian room to peek inside the compartment. She glanced from brother to brother while she waited to find out whether or not the area would suit their standards. If it didn't, maybe they'd luck out and find another empty compartment, but she did have a sneaking suspicion they all looked the same. Lucky for her, she didn't even need to worry about that, for Sebastian had opened the door of the compartment and made his way inside. When Woodson remarked that this area was just fine, LouAnn glanced at him out the corner of her eye, smiled again, then followed his brother inside.

Woodson and Sebastian were mysterious, like puzzles just waiting to be figured out. Of all the friends she'd met in various places around the world, she'd never met anyone quite like the Whitcomb's. She wondered why they were so overly concerned with dirt, and why everyday things, like train compartments, were adequate to her yet so foreign to them. It didn't bother her. It just...intrigued her. "How are you used to traveling, then? I mean, I've just realized I don't know too much about you," she said to them. She hoped she wasn't offending them. They seemed so private and proper---people who might not appreciate questions being asked. "It's alright if you don't feel comfortable telling me, but...do you want a Jelly Slug?"

Sure, the question was a little abrupt, but she'd lost her nerve to ask about any additional details. She pulled open the bag of candy she had and held it open to the brothers. Surely they'd had candy before, right? I mean, every teenager liked Jelly Slugs...right? She pulled a napkin from her handbag and laid the bag of candy atop it on the seat next to her. If Woodson or Sebastian wanted any, they were more then free to get some. LouAnn knew they were verly cautious about things like that, though, and the last thing she wanted to do was offend her very first Hogwarts friend and his brother. "Do you think you'll enjoy Hogwarts any?" she asked.
