LouAnn had apparently just made the presumption that she would be joining them in a compartment. Woodson braced himself for Bastian's complaints.. but they didn't come. Odd.

"I'm glad to hear that," the fifteen year old said sincerely when LouAnn claimed to have more sanitizer in her handbag. His own supply was stored away in his luggage trunk. "I'm sure it'll come in handy on this train.." filthy and disgusting as it was. Ew.

Somewhere private and doesn't smell, Sebastian had said. He doubted very much they were going to find anywhere that fitted that category but nodded curtly anyway. "Ladies first then, Miss Purple," Woodson smiled elegantly, motioning for her to lead the way.

From what LouAnn could tell, though, Sebastian seemed just as nice and polite as his brother. When he thanked her and called her Miss, she smiled at him, beginning to like Woodson's brother just as much as she liked Woodson. "You're welcome, Sebastian," she replied. She'd never met anyone who needed hand sanitizer quite as often as the Whitcomb brothers did, but to be honest, in the two times she'd met with Woodson, she'd sort of gotten used to it.

She opened her mouth to ask about what Sebastian had started to say---they must now do what?---but Woodson spoke up, so the attention was turned back to him. Ladies first? She blushed a little, but otherwise just continued smiling. No one had ever said 'Ladies first' to LouAnn, not even the boys in France! "Alright, then. Somewhere private that doesn't smell," she said, echoing Sebastian's words. She hoped it was alright that she'd just joined them and assumed she could sit with them. Sebastian had specified private, so maybe they preferred to ride alone? She'd just play it by ear and see what happened. She wasn't really sure which compartment would suit the boys, so she stopped near the first empty one she came to. "Is this alright, or do you want me to keep going?" she asked them.
Sebastian would be needing a lot more than just a recipient of hand-sanitizer if people were going to keep bumping into him, brushing against him, trotting on him. He was going to need to bathe in sanitizer once they were out of this train. Ugh.

Rolling his eyes at Woodson's usual politeness when he thought both LouAnn and his brother were looking the other way, Sebastian followed the girl. But only because he really wanted to get out of this corridor, not because he needed her to find a place to stay or whatever. He was a Whitcomb .. they needed no one.

They followed no one.

It didn't take much walking for Sebastian to realise his earlier assumption had been correct and with an annoyed huff, he turned to look at his brother. "I told you, no first class." Fair eyebrow raised upwards to his forehead, he simply shook his head.

Just when he thought things couldn't get worse.

Miss LouAnn had already found them a compartment, it seemed, and - not expecting much - Sebastian peeked inside. Just like he had thought, it was a basic compartment .... for war time! What was this? England hadn't gotten in another war, had it? They still could afford some basic comforts. "I don't hope to find anything in here that smells better than this." Sebastian commented before pushing the door open and slipping inside without another word.
