Walking down the hallway of the train Reid's eyes quickly scanned around, trying to see if he could spot anyone that he knew and hoping that he didn't. He was exhausted and not in the mood to deal with people. He was also confused and letting his emotions spill into his eyes.

Sighing he finally found an empty compartment and slipped silently inside before closing the door. Slumping down onto a seat Reid's shoulders sagged and he let his head rest on his chest. He looked utterly defeated. He just hoped that Rachel would still want to be with him. He had a feeling that this summer hadn't been what she was expecting. To add to that she'd found out that he was unofficially engaged to another woman. He really wasn't sure how it would turn out.

Sighing his thoughts flew to the conversation he'd had with his father where he had been given the ultimatum that was tearing him apart. Break up with Rachel or never contact your mother and I again. He knew what he'd do, he'd stay with Rachel of course. Reid had enough money and fame to not need his parents but at the same time to know that according to his father he'd never be welcome at home again hurt his heart more than he thought possible. Of course this was all dependant on Rachel still wanting to be with him. If not then there would be no problem between his parents and him because they knew that if Rachel rejected him he'd go along with their plans and marry Sienna.
