 GUESS WHO'S BACK. BACK AGAIN ♥ Team Samssy ♥
Samson could feel the anger and irritation well up inside of him, bubbling in his blood, threatening to overflow and spill out like lava. His breathing had most evidently become shallower as he listened to Issy's preposterous speech. He simply couldn't believe what he was hearing! He was narrowing his eyes and shaking his head in disbelief so much that it might have been a twitch, an involuntary action that was hard to control.
"What're you gonna do about it, Issy? Huh?!" He was on the edge of his seat now, ready to stand up, to tower over her like he usually did. But he didn't want to do that. He didn't want to scare or hurt her. At least he still had a good enough sense of mind to know that he did not want to blow his top on Issy. That would be risking too much. Still, he couldn't help but oppose her. "I know you don't like it, and I know it could be dangerous. If Sabrina or you were in a scuffle with a werewolf, I'd feel the worst kind of grief on the planet, I'd probably go mad of depression," and it was true. "But what are you going to do? Send the Ministry a letter? Oh, by all means. Join the probable hundred thousand parents still sending their kids to school despite their knowledge of werewolves around. Why didn't they do anything about it? Huh? Why are their children still here?
"In fact, Issy," he was seething now, and whatever restraint he had before this was slowly wearing thin. "Why are you still here? I'd think you'd have gone off with that boy by now, recruiting people to go up against the werewolves even when there's nothing we can do about it since they're already teaching anyway! Are the other staff complaining? Hmm? We'll see, when we get to Hogwarts, where the werewolves are already there. Is the Ministry doing anything about it? I don't see any action being taken, do you? And by golly, if you wanna skip their classes, by all means be my guest!"
Sam heaved a long, shuddering breath, and closed his eyes before slowly moving back on the seat. He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. For a moment he didn't say anything, and allowed Sabrina to interrupt. He didn't like it, but he felt too drained to want to argue with her at the moment. Besides, some shallow part of him liked the fact that she was taking his side for once.
Opening his eyes, he looked back at Issy, his stare dark and angry, but at the same time it was imploring, apologetic, even. "I say deal with it."
