And then the compartment opened again. Looking up she smiled as she was given a hug by Lizzie. "Hey Liz! I'm doing...good. You?" she hugged the girl back, a big smile on her face. She hadn't seen Lizzie in ages! Yet, here the girl was. Today, was going pretty good so far.

Chris laughed as Jenn replied to his joke about the House Cup, "Ah well I guess, I will have to help Gryffindor win it the old fashion way, do tons of homework and help convince my fellow Gryffindors to do the same. Lizzie avoided the topic of the breakup as Jenn talked about it, by simply answering Jenn's other question instead. The wondering about her and Chris hadn't seemed to be for her, so she'd let Chris handle it if he wanted to.
I'm good too, thanks. Been such a slow summer. She tried to remember something fun that had happened that she could tell her friends, but nothing came to her mind.
I've mostly been busy moving around she said with a halfhearted smile, answering both of them.
So I haven't had much time for friends at all this summer. Everything seems so small compared to buying an entire new closet or painting a new room.. She sighed and turned to Chris as he spoke, listening before answering.
Ton's of homework, right.. she said and shook her head with a little smile.
I'm actually, strangely, looking forward to homework. She seemed surprised by the words and shudded.
Guess that means we have a chance at the cup this year...
