Maybe she would forget about their meeting and make his life easier. Unlikely ...

Stopping just outside the Prefect's compartment, the sixteen year old stared at the door for a split second before realizing he ought to pin on his new badge. Reaching into his pocket, Dominic carefully pinned it right above his Prefect Badge. Head Boy - it was official now.

And with that, he entered the room. Pleased - almost - that only one person was there before him. Chris Potter, returning Gryffindor Prefect.

"Hey Chris," he nodded towards him as he slipped into the compartment and took a seat opposite him near the window. Chris had never really struck him as a bad guy; of course he didn't really too much about him, but nonetheless... he wasn't bad. "How was your summer?"
Chris looked up as at last the door slid open to reveal possibly a new Prefect? Nope Dominic Denton instead. Oh well he would get to meet the new ones eventually. He smiled at Dom and said, "Oh hey Dominic! Congrats on becoming Head Boy. I'm sure you will do well." he watched as he took a seat across from him.

"My summer was good, just stayed home mostly. I've read alot of my school books already! I can't wait for some of this term's Arithmancy lessons. If Professor Shackelbolt does all the things I read about!" Uh-oh Chris had just had a major geek out moment. He was far from a nred in the traditional sense. He was still pretty popular and had many friends, played sports and everything. He just loved to go to classes and read alot. He smiled hoping Dom didn't think he was strange for reading his textbooks and then he went on about his summer. "My family and I did got to the coast for a few days for a small vacation. But I flew alot this summer. I wanted to get ready for Quidditch Try-Outs this term. I want Jack to see that I can help the team." Chris grinned. "So how was your summer?" he asked.
