Chris smiled brightly as Lizzie had enterned the compartment and he hugged her back. "It's good to see you Lizzie. I'm great, you? How was your summer?" he asked sitting back down to talk to his friends.

Chris smiled as Jenn asked about the merpeople war that he had been part of last term. "Well there were merpeople with spears everywhere attacking us and the Professors. And to make it worse they kept sicking their Grinylows on us! I was bit in the ankle pretty badly, but I healed up ok." he grinned. It hurt like crap though when it happened. "I also was the first person to stun and knock out the King Merperson when we rushed the room he was in!" he said a bit proud of himself.

Chris laughed as Jenn replied to his joke about the House Cup, "Ah well I guess, I will have to help Gryffindor win it the old fashion way, do tons of homework and help convince my fellow Gryffindors to do the same. Right Lizzie?" he said laughing. "And I am very excited for classes to start this term!" he said happily.
