Josh sprinted to his and his friends spot in front of the lake and checked his watch. He could still make it if he hurried. He always hated when he was late for Jaden, she always stared him down and gave him an evil eye. When he finally skidded to a halt in front of his friends, he saw Jaden and toppled over, distracted. When Josh picked himself up and brushed himself off, giving the other two guys a ,"Don't even think about laughing look." He looked at Jaden in awe. She was absolutely gorgeous tonight. "Hey guys!" he said, standing next to the bench. "Sorry I'm late, I had to sneak out and my neighbors dog kept barking. Can you believe? I'm an adult in the wizard AND the muggle world and she still won't let me go out at night! What a rip." He smiled his half-smile and asked, "Sooooo, is anyone else coming?"
