That beautiful, unforgettable day.
Meh. Anyways, back to today. As soon as he caught Issy in his arms, he enveloped her in a tight hug (trying not to lift her off the ground and snog her lights out). "Hey there, Little Flower," he greeted as soon as he let go of her. Then he took her hand that was not holding the poster, and lead her back to the compartment.
"Look at this," he offered, showing her the poster he had just been given earlier as soon as they got back inside. He thought it would be a good topic of conversation, instead of talking about the things that transpired between them during the summer. They'd have time to talk about that... eventually. While running, Issy often felt as though she was flying or soaring through the air and she had briefly contemplated leaping into the air at Samson, but she decided against it and instead threw her arms around Samson and held herself to him tightly. Her arms wrapped around him and locked for a moment and even as he let go of her, she held on for a moment longer. Just a moment.
Her heart may have squealed when he called her Little Flower. Just a bit. Heeheehee.
And then her hand was in his and she was being lead to a compartment. Happily, she complied and followed him at an almost trot and as a result, once Samson stopped to show her the poster, she nearly bumped into him. Fluffing her skirt, Issy took the poster from Samson and quickly glanced over it. Her eyebrows rose into her fringe.
"Where did you get this?" she asked. "Do you know who was passing these out?"
Her eyes scanned the poster once more and then she looked back at Samson, her face set firmly.
"I want to find whoever is passing these out," she explained, "and my pledge my allegiance to them. Because I full heartedly agree with this. There is no reason we have werewolves on staff. Class XXXXX is dangerous and they kill and have NO human thoughts while transformed. That Hogwarts would even consider keeping Lupa on staff is absurd, and I bet Bontecou is returning. After surviving a werewolf attack like that, he's sure to be a werewolf.
"That just makes me angry! Two werewolves on staff? Are they insane? Do they want to attack? What is the meaning behind such a preposterous action?!"
Was it obvious that Issy was displeased? Tiny hands scrunched up in tiny fists and tremors shook her body. After Lupa's attack, she was fully prepared to never be near another werewolf again. |
