Emily nodded to Melinda's question. "Yes I will go get him." She said letting go of Mel's hands and smiled. She got up and walked back out into the hall. Where she found her two sons sitting on the steps. She went over and picked up Nick. "Your turn Chris." She said and walked back down stairs still trying to make some sense of what happened.

Nick looked as his mum came and picked him up. "I want to see Mel." He said as they walked back down stairs towards the living room.

"You will...later." Emily told Nick.

Chris walked back into his room and shut the door behind him. He went and sat down on the bed next to Melinda taking her hand into his. He smiled a small smile to her. Then out of no where he kissed her on her lips. Just a little bit ago he was scared half to death that she wasn't going to wake up. But now that she was awake he didn't want to be apart from her for one second.
