Madison looked away from me and I focused my attention to the window.
“Okay we have a wand, but the problem is that we don’t know any spells besides the beginner ones.”
“We need something stronger than a basic spell; something with a punch okay I need you to go over the spells we know.”
Madison looked at me worried. “I wasn’t allowed to go into moms and dads spell books they said I would have plenty of time to learn them once I became a student, so I only know the basics of what they thought me at school. Sorry.”
My suspicion of Madison being older than myself was growing stronger.
“Well we know one strong spell,”
“Killing Curse?”
“Yes, that would be the one.”
Both I and Madison stopped talking. We both were uncomfortable, that stupid curse was what had started this stupid Holocaust that we were in. It was a nice sight to see all humans put their differences behind, but the fact that now they were killing human being with magical powers really got on my nerves. Couldn't they had found something else to bond with besides killing lives?
“I know Alohomora!”
Sebastian was standing next to Madison and we both looked at him.
“Mom was very forgetful, she always left the keys somewhere or lost them and I remember her saying Alohomora, or Accio keys!”
Suddenly it hit me. Each of us knew different spells; if Madison and I asked the children to join us we would be able to create a list.
“You guys we need your help, I need you to tell me all the spells you now and we will write them down.”
The children all began to smile and began to tell us all of the spells that they knew or had heard from their parents. Even if we didn’t have the spell as long as we had a definition we would figure it out later. We were finally making some progress.
