Just His Luck

ACK! Why did the girl have to follow him so? Draco couldn’t help but wonder this as he scrambled through the hallways, glancing from side to side. Sometimes he even dared to throw in an occasional glance behind him, in which he would regret upon seeing that girl with her dark brown hair and her dazed eyes. Why couldn’t his charm work on someone more attractive? Like… Granger or Ginny Weasley?

Grieving over his horrible luck and that he was now officially stalked by Pansy Parkinson, Draco searched for a classroom of some sort. The Slytherin boy pulled out his wand, just in case it was needed and Pansy got too touchy.

After much walking around, Draco came upon a classroom. Out of desperation he ran inside and slammed the door., without even checking if there was anyone in the classroom. “Colloportus,” he said, firmly and the door locked itself, forming a nice firm barrier between him and Pansy.

With a triumphant smile plastered on his face, Draco turned around to face the supposedly empty classroom. Only to see that Slytherin Terence Higgs, was snogging Gryffindor Alicia Spinnet. Wide-eyed, Draco ventured a small awkward smile. “S-sorry….” Just his luck.
