Ginny saw her brothers walk past her hiding spot, and she slid deeper into the alleyway. Right behind them came Harry, looking so much like himself despite the hat and ridiculous facial hair that Ginny swore under her breath and made to step out into the street after him. He was going to get himself killed. At that exact moment, several curses were hurled about the busy street. Ginny was forced to throw herself back into the alley to remain safe.
One of the attackers must have seen her, she reasoned, because a stream of blue light zinged over her head right where she had been standing just a moment before. It hit the wall and tore out a sizable piece of masonry, which crumbled down around Draco Malfoy. Ginny ignored all that for a moment, wanting to go back out on the street, where shoppers were scurrying out of the way and where her two brothers and the love of her life were. More curses were aimed her way however, and she gave a cry of frustration before turning back to Malfoy. He lay on the ground, the cement apparently having hit him. Ginny rushed to his side. His pulse was strong, but there was blood on his face. Hating the fact that the man she was saving today was not a loved one but an enemy, Ginny wrapped her arms around Malfoy and apparated to the safest place she could think of - Hogwarts.
Feeling Snape's hand on the collar of her shirt was almost as if Tara had been granted permission. Her hands, which had been at rest, one on his knee and the other holding his robes for balance, found their way up to the front of his robes. The fumbling was less this time and her fingers were quick and sure. She paused, pulling her face away from where she'd been laying kisses on Snape's jawline. "You aren't going to change your mind, are you?"
