Teachings that do not speak of pain have no meaning <3<3 Keep fighting, it will turn out okay <3<3 "The choices we make in life have unlimited possibilities."
~Rem Saverem The first broken promise As soon as the door closed and their footsteps were gone. My legs could no longer support my weight. So they collapsed, but I knew I must not show weakness. I took in a deep breath and stood up, now how was I suppose to face the children? If I hadn't made a scene they wouldn't have heard what would occur to Jason and them, when they would come of age.
I turned around to face the children, most of them were crying, others had decided to go back and stare at the window. I felt lonely, Jason had been like a brother to me, we both had began planning for this dreadful day. He was going to die, and there was nothing that I could do to stop it.
"Alex!"
My eyes widened, somehow Alex had climbed onto the window and he was trying to lift up a rock were me and Jason kept the wand we had made when we were sent to clean out trash. We had found enough things and supplies to make a wand. Jason's family had owned a wand shop before the incident. so at least one of us knew what we were doing.
"Al please come down."
"No I want my brother back. They said we were all going o die anyway."
A little girl began to cry even harder than before. I wiped the blood from lip with my sleeve.
"AL!"
"I WANT BROTHER BACK, I WANT HIM BACK I WANNA GET HIM BACK PLEASE."
"Al please we will get him back. I promise."
"Keep the promise? "
Keep."
"Or a thousand needles you will eat."
"I pinky promise."
I wasn't sure I was going to get him back, but now I had no choice. The original plan had to be forgotten, Jason wouldn't be happy, but the first promise had to be broken.
"Alex give me that wand and get down."
I was afraid of heights it was an irrational fear of mine, but for the children for my children I would do anything.
"Ok, you got in the bed, no scare?"
"I haven't look down yet." I said
My voice was shaking and so Alex climbed down, boy was I ever happy to have my feet back on the ground.
"Nunually, come here don't cry,"
A little girl with curly short hair came to me and I gave her a hug.
"tonight we all are leaving." I informed the children.
The plan that me and Jason had worked on for four weeks wasn't exactly bullet proof, but to keep the promise I just had made with Alex, I had to break the promise I made with Jason. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
