Normally Neville wouldn’t have gone to the Quidditch match expecting to get into a fight. Let alone would he expect himself to be stupid enough to try and take on Crabbe and Goyle by himself. But when Ron jumped at Malfoy it just kind of—sparked something and he wanted to join the fight! Malfoy deserved it, after all they had put him through.
Of course, that was why he was now in the hospital wing, with a concussion. They said he had gone out cold, but he couldn’t remember. But Goyle had a bruised lip, so Neville was satisfied.
