As Antwone tumbled into the brush it happened almost instantly. Through the thick canopy came the brilliant moonlight beam, reflecting into his glasses, into his bright brown eyes that were now transforming to a sickly yellow. The last of the man let out a scream as his jawline broke and re-grew, protruding outward into a snout. His t-shirt ripped as his bones and muscles grew too big for it and black fur shot out from his skin. The shoes on his feet shot out and hit a nearby tree as large, clawed toes ripped through its leather. The pain was excruciating but nulled.

The wolf was back. Antwone lied on the ground as he waited for his potion to work but he wasn't sure if it had.

Kill. Rip. Eat.

No!

Another! Female! Kill together!

No! He thought he had done it right! He had made Wolfsbane for almost all his life. But he had never taken it when so close to another wolf. Perhaps that bond was enough for the Wolf inside to beat the effects of the potion. But Antwone couldn't let that happen, as he heard Alma's wolf jump into the clearing.

Help! Surround the humans!

His thoughts became more simplified, more goal-oriented. Though he still maintain his human mind, the wolf's instinct took over as he launched himself into the clearing, just behind the group.

He saw the other wolf all ready identifying her first kill. As she took off for the witch, Antwone's wolf shot up over the group, aiming to bite for her exposed neck when ...
