If you had told Marina, right then, what was going through Sophia's mind, she would not have believed you: She did not know the Department Head too well but, all the same, she both admired and respected Sophia.

"Enjoying your break?" she asked, her blue eyes lighting up as she directed her attention towards the pretty head. Marina had always been the type to whom talk came easy, and this break had definitely given her a good reason to exercise her conversational skills.
