Default Hospital Ward

The ones who do a bang up job, so to speak, of getting injured or sick might have to spend some time in the hospital ward to recover. The beds aren’t quite as comfy as the dorm room beds, but they aren’t bad, plus your meals are delivered right to your bed. How is that for a perk?

Miss Avalon is very protective of this ward, and the patients in it. She watches over it very closely. If you want to visit someone here, you can only do so during the posted visiting hours, and you should find Caroline in the waiting room and get her permission. It’s important not to bother the patients too much while you are here, because they are here to rest and recover. If you do… you guessed it – banishing charm.

OOC: Before Posting in any Hospital Wing Thread, please read THESE

Hospital Ward Rules:

• Would you burst into your doctor’s private office in real life? Or the recovery ward? Or the Quarantine ward? Probably not. Just like in real life, you need Caroline’s permission- IC preferably, OOC at the very least- to post in The Hospital Ward. Posting there without my permission will earn you the loss of points.

• When Caroline says you’re healed/healthy/fine, you ARE healed/healthy/fine. Actually this goes for pretty much any member of staff. This is not because we want to stunt your creativity, it’s because we have to be able to set limits. I understand that some people want to have dramatic injuries or conditions. So if you want your character to have a serious injury or illness, you can work it out with me via PM and we’ll see what we can do BUT if you just show up in my hospital with a severed limb or coughing up a lung, Cari will take care of it quickly and send you on your way.

• There cannot be 80 visitors in the Hospital Ward at once. Nor can they stay forever. Patients need to rest. Visitors get sent back to their dorms eventually. If they’re loud or disturbing, they get sent back quicker.

• You can chose to die of an injury or illness, but that is a choice with permanent repercussions; you are moved into "Dead Student" Usergroup (which has no School RPG posting access) for the rest of the term, and your old student can never be played again, so consider it carefully before you go that route.

• I never divulge the status of patients or any medical information. Please don’t ask me OOC. You’re free to ask me IC, but you’ll get a similar answer.
