Good mood? Well yeah, he was... considering... "I think it's because I told my girlfriend that I didn't want to be in a relationship, because I don't understand them. I wanted to say it for ages, but I feel better now I did..." he explained, before turning and showing Lawson the side of his face. "She slapped me. Hard."
Girls were confusing.
Flinching and wildly flailing his arms in exaggerated movements, Jake gigged at the grass attack. "Hey, meanie," he said in mock indignation, folding his arms and making a playful pout, before smiling again and nodding. "I can't wait to seeeeeeeeee hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim."
"I think everyone likes to do that...be someone they're not. When I was on stage I was a totally different person to the one you see now." Yeah he was a total egomaniac when he was on stage.
Marcus looked over to the girl that Jake had been speaking with and he raised his eyebrows and inclined his head towards her as if to say 'is that her?' Looking at Jake's face, he burst out laughing. "That's females for you. I've lost count at the amount of times I have been slapped" he chuckled softly and then leaned over closer to the young boy. "Don't even bother trying to work them out, just agree with everything they say and you can't go wrong."
"Yeah I told him all about you and do you want to know what he said?" Marcus looked at Jake and smirked and then continued before Jake could answer. "He said that you sound exactly like me when I was your age. Personally I don't see it. I'm way better looking" he ruffled Jake's hair playfully before bursting into laughter again.
