As Annie rose from her chair, Iliana walked towards her with her arms opened wide. Pulling Annie into a hug, Iliana put her mouth to Annie's ear and whispered, "Thanks so much for staying with her," quietly enough that Less would never hear. Then she squeezed Annie, almost desperately tight, before releasing her hold.

With an outstretched hand, Iliana walked right up to the barrier that was imprisoning her friend. "Oh Alessia..." she sobbed, placing her hand on the surface.
