Couldn't he fund someone his own age to crush on?
She smiled. "I still can't believe YOU are the one that helped him. I thought we were suppose to help him stop liking Bunbury," she told him. At least she knew he didn't have a crush on Professor Bunbury. Fyo gave Reese an almost grateful smile. "I wrote it because I owed him a birthday present, duh," he said. He had thought Reese already knew that! "Or he would never have forgiven me for missing his birthday. There was nothing I could do about it."
Poor him. Quote:

"It's suppose to be: Roses are red, violets or blue. I want chocolate. How about you?" She corrected herself. Yes, that sounded more like it. It actually rhymed this time! Fyo chuckled. At least she had realized her mistake. "Yeah, you said it a bit wrong," he laughed. "It's okay, though. We all make mistakes. I mean, I made the biggest mistake of my life, befriending Torin Baked Alaska Kane." Bwaha!
Jokes aside, the little poem reminded him of chocolate. Yes --- again. And now he wanted to EAT it! Quote:
Reese laughed at Fyo's sarcasm. Smart people don't crush on their Professors. It's just simply fact. "Actually, she's like three times his age," she said.
What, what, WHAT?
"Three times?" Fyo asked, his jaw dropping open. "Wow, she must be a million years old!" He turned to Torin. "Didja hear that, Tor, didja? She's A HUNDRED YEARS OLD!" FyoSanity crisis complete. Quote:

"Oh, and I need witnesses to verify my skills or lack thereof." Now it was just a matter of giving them the right puppydog expression. Torin did SO not mean that.
Fyo folded his arms across his chest. "You're mental," he said firmly, even though he knew that, when all would be said and done, he would succumb to Torin Kane's puppydog expression. Which was a pity, really. "Why do you need to prove it to her?" he asked. "I mean, who cares if you can bake it or not?" Quote:

Talk and chat continued, and the conversation turned interesting as soon as Bunbury was mentioned. Wow...a crush...a letter and crazy teenagers.
It was wicked, yes. But fun to listen to the conversation. Fyo turned to Emiliano, realizing that the boy was listening to their whole, crazy conversation. "You must think Torin and I are mental," he laughed. Even though he had not talked to Emiliano much, he liked the guy. |
