He listened to the conversation between her and Torin, wondering why they were discussing poetry. WAIT A SECOND! Torin had not told her - - Turned out Torin badkitty had told her. Fyo had pretty much forgotten that bit of poetry, and now he had been reminded of it. "You didn't have to tell the whole world I wrote it," he half-mumbled to Torin. Then panic overtook him. "You did NOT let her read it, did you? Tell me you didn't." He wanted to grab and shake Tor, now. If Reese had read it - oh, the embarrassment!
"Better tell you beforehand, I didn't mean much of what I wrote," he told Reese at once. "He told me I owed him, so I wrote it, but I SO did not mean the part about her enchanting laugh or whatever."
Reese stepped back a step and eyed Fyo. Hold on. He was the same height as her! Not cool. NOT COOL. She thought he was like a little shorter that 5'7, but now looking at him, he was the same height! That means she was calling herself small. "You know what, nevermind," she said.
"Oh, come on Fyo! We're friends. You honestly don't mind that I know about it, do you?" She asked him with a smile. "It's not like I'm going to tell anyone. I mean, you haven't told any my secrets to anyone, so I won't tell anyone your secrets-meaning to poetry. I promise I won't tell anyone." Hopefully Fyo would believe her when she said that. She didn't want the boy not trusting her.
"And, no, I didn't read it," she answered Fyo's question to Torin. "Enchanted laugh? I'm interested now to hear what was in the poem." She looked towards Torin and smiled.

Reese moved closer to Fyo when Torin started dancing. Nope, she didn't want him to accidentally hit her! Then, he started back on the little 'discussion' they were having.
"ONE! I can poetry if I wanted to. See:
Roses are red. Violets are red. I want chocolate. How about you? TWO! What-ev-ER! FOUR! You need to stop being mean to Fyo. Saying you can knock someone down, is not nice," she said.
