Marcus ran his hands through his hair once again and looked away from Ethan for a moment. That bloody cage was going to haunt him. He was sure he had checked it.
"She wanted to eat you?" He almost burst out laughing at that but then quickly scowled at the mention of the old man and then he shrugged. "The guy still thinks she's five for Merlin sakes." And Alessia Lupa was certainly no child in his books.
He shook his head quickly. "How could the old man pin you with this? You were only there to observe...right?" Marcus tilted his head to the side and looked at his friend. Just because the woman was the reason he was on probation didn't mean he would...would he?
