Practical bit, YAY! Fyo watched their Transfiguration professor intently, taking in every action of his - he wanted to do this right, when the time came. Which came soon enough, too. Birdie feather time!
KeywordWordPlumexer. Fyo raised his wand, that nifty little thing, and concentrated on a bird feather. A canary feather, to be more exact. "Plumexer!"
It took several moments to make him realize nothing was happening. GAH! He tried again, but once more there was no result. More patiently now, he gave the spell a third try, and TADA! The feather appeared! This was awesome. Fyo scooped the feather before it fell to the ground, but something was bugging him, now. The third year raised his hand, looking slightly thoughtful.
"Professor, could you please explain something to me?" he asked politely. "I've seen witches and wizards conjure objects out of nowhere. That means you can conjure things with magic. But conjuring in not the same as making vanishing objects re-appear, is it, sir?"
And what about these feathers, one of which he was now holding? Were they conjuring them out of nowhere, or had they already been present in the classroom? Explanation needed, yayYAY!
