Mari first looked to Elizabeth and smiled at her friends comment. " Yes, I decided to finally venture outside my dormitory, for once. You know, fresh air and all." She shrugged a little, turning to glance at Cayden and give him a quick smile. She gave his hand another squeeze as Robert addressed her only; She could tell when someone was ignoring another person. Mari didn't quite understand it, but she was glad that at least no one had tried to do anything stupid. " You're welcome," She said, standing closer to Cayden. The slightly odd moment was diffused by Robert addressing another person, something Mari was thankful for. " So...this is interesting. One big camp out. I'm going to have a hard time making sure no dirt gets in my sleeping bag." She said, making small talk at the moment because she didn't know what else to say.
Cayden smiled at Elizabeth as their was quiet a story with the both of them. Something he would have to discuss with her. She seemed to have conversation with several people at the moment so he would do it a little later in the night."Miss Chatter Box." He addressed Liz as he tilted his pin stripped fedora at her. He was informed he should wear them more often, seeing as they looked nice on him. He could see that Robert was ignoring him which was fine with him. It wasnt like their was going to be any good conversation between them as it was."Robert." he said as he wanted to add more dislike in his tone, but he had to behave tonight.
Mari squeezed his hand again as he was unsure the reasoning behind it. She was having a difficult time...It was worse for him. He leaned over to kiss her head as he was hoping it would give her some comfort. He listened to Mari talk about camping as he tried to think about the time he had gone camping." I dont think I've ever gone camping." he spoke aloud as Mari went on about how nature wasnt aloud inside her bag. He snickered as he looked over at Elizabeth. " If you wouldnt mind sometime tonight I would like to talk to you. Privately." Of course nothing was really private with people around." Maybe a walk if possible. When its convent for you." he asked her as he would like to talk to her about a few things. He smiled at everyone as he moved to put his hands into his pockets. It was quiet for a few seconds as he added." So exciting...the..outdoors." Yeah. He turned to Mari as he gave her an awkward smile.
