Constantine couldn't figure out what scared the heck out of him the most. The fact that Bontecou spoke...or the knock on the door. Geez, he was getting soft.
"I'll get it," he said quietly to Caroline, getting up out of the chair. Opening the door, he was actually relieved to see that it was Kazimeriz. "You're just in time...it sounds like he's waking up," he said, opening the door more and getting out of the way.
