Constantine was sitting next to Caroline in Bontecou's hospital room. He was looking rather solemn and serious as he sat, leaning back in his chair. The thought that his wife would be giving birth in almost a week seemed to be at the back of his mind. Deeeeeep in the back of his mind.
His eyes seemed intent on staying fixated on the floor, but he couldn't help but look up as Caroline finally spoke. But it wasn't directed to him...it was to the other male in the room. And the way she said the question...it seemed like she knew him. Great.
