He apologized once more, wincing at how quiet his voice had gone. Looking up to gauge her reaction, he noticed that at least she was giggling about it and wasn't reprimanding him.

She was giggling over the matter. Biting his lower lip, he frantically racked his brains for a subject they could talk about. Something different than this.

"How's Hugo?" He stuttered out, hoping that bringing up his name would get Evolette talking about the pretty blonde boy.
