"thanks sir!" Lyra said back to him with a smile and turned around again to pick up the sleeping bag that was lying on top, dropped it on the ground and picked the one under the first one, weird habit. Lyra actually wanted to hear 'you can keep the bag afterwards' instead of turning it in...she wanted a sleeping bag for her own, but apparently that was not going to happen. Lyra pushed the thought aside and looked around the ground to search for a place to sit and found a spot near the fire. Lyra placed her sleeping bag on the ground and sat on it, listening to and watching the other students while plucking grass with her hand.
