Garret casually dropped his tattered and many-times patched sleeping bag on the ground beside Winnie without an invitation or even a greeting, emptied his pockets of his sweets, half-eaten Chocolate Frog, the BLT he'd nicked off the Great Hall earlier that day and a few loose jelly beans all onto his sleeping bag and then finally plopped himself down right there beside the Gryffindor.
He grinned at her and picked up a bean in a violent shade of purple, "Want one?" he offered, kinda hoping she'd decline because then he could discover for himself what this interesting looking bean tasted like. However, he had always been... polite... and would always offer the first sweet to the other person first. Regardless if the sweet in question still bore a piece of lint from his pockets or not.
Winnie downed the last of her chocolate milk box and stuffed it into her bag. "Hullo Garret, and yes I will have one, as I'm already feeling adventurous, what with being near a likely ferocious canine. My underpants are still dry. Godric Gryffindor would be proud." With that, she popped a neon orange bean into her mouth and chewed pensively.
She gagged and spat onto the grass. "CAYENNE PEPPER! Whyyy couldn't it just taste like an ORANGE!?"
