88. Sweet Tooth

Rowena’s face fell.

“Godric, it’s got sugar. Loads of sugar. On the top. There’s icing.”

“Well… yes, it is a cake, after all,” the wizard observed.

“Our wedding cake. Which means we both have to eat some. Which means we both have to like it. And this one has sugar icing on the top. Sugar!”

“Yes, you’ve already mentioned that…” Godric looked at her, still not understanding what she was trying to say. Cakes were meant to be sweet, right?

“I know you have a sweet tooth and all that… but I’ve already told you I can’t stand sugar icing!”
