Ryder finally turned to Simone. "The fact that you even came says a lot. We're scrapping the idea because I am genuinely not in the mood." Ryder grabbed Simone's hand. He pulled it up and kissed it gently. He thought about grabbing both of her hands but his other hand was bleeding from hitting the tree. "Payback, I guess. Thanks for at least making an effort."

He side-stepped the two girls and began to make his way back up to the castle.

Simone was surprised Ryder didnt yell at her as well. But she deserved it. She was being awefully rude, not that it surprised her. Girls like that were everywhere, but the generally populated Beauxbatons.

Another action that was extremely surprsing, was when he kissed her hand. It caught her off guard. She wasnt expecting that at all, nor for him to be...so...nice, despite his anger. Then he walked away. "Ryder! Wait!"

She turned to the older girl and replied, "And to think I was hoping to be friends with you at the beginning of term. How 'immature' of me. Or possibly even, stupid." She turned away and ran off towards Ryder, hoping to catch up with him.
