Simone decided it was time to take out the big guns. She had to calm him down, and quickly. It was mostly her fault that he was acting this way. If she had been on time he wouldnt have been angry to begin with.

Simone stepped infront of him, and stood on her tip toes, as if she were in her ballet pointe shoes, so that she could be closer to his height. She gently brushed her finger tips against his cheek, before resting her hand there. "Ryder," She said, quietly and very calmly, "I'm with you. But you need to calm down. She really might be able to help us. The...thing is very big you know." She stopped, and looked deep into his eyes, "Please." She said, gripping his hand, and gently stroking his cheek.
