Livvy raised an eyebrow at him as he tried to protest. It's useless, kiddo. "I wanna say you... but that must surely be wrong! Chris Potter?! Third place in the point count? You must be joshing me," she said, snorting. Though.. she actually believed it. Way better than how SHE was! Don't even get her started with where SHE is on the point count.
"Right! Shovels! AND buckets! Off to Masterson's we go!" Livvy said, happily as she picked herself up and brushed the sand off her jeans. "Oh. But wait. Where do we find lil' Masty?" Truth be told. In those five years she had attended Hogwarts... never once... have she gone looking for the Groundskeeper. Eep. That was intense.
Chris's smile faultered a bit as Livvy looked closer at him and said he had something there. He was about to try and pick whatever it was out of his teeth and the Livvy said his face. He chuckled and said,
"Ok we're even." as she ruffled his hair.
Chris watched her overdramatic reaction to his third place comment,
"Don't believe me?" he smiled.
"Well it's true so you probably should." He didn't want to brag it was just messing around, besides even if he was bragging he may have beat Livvy but Ravenclaw's points still towered over Gryffindor's.
Chris jumped up as Livvy shouted the command of shovels and buckets and he did a mock salute and said,
"I second that notion." and began to march a few steps, grinnning. Then he stopped when she asked where to find Masterson. Chris had no idea where he would be.
"Well normally we could check his hut, but isn't it still flooded? So maybe the lake or something?"
