“Werewolf!”
The shout soared through the chaotic night.
I turned to see Dolohov striding towards me purposefully, blocking spells as he cut his way through the battle. The air crackled with curses, others were falling around me, but somehow I was unaware of them, he was all that mattered, him and the murderous glint in his eye. I could stop him…
His wand cleaved the air; with a flash of purple flame there was pain, in my chest, in my stomach, in my heart…
And then everything was gone, everything was light.
