"Oh, ok," Jack said. She was good dueller? Well, that was good to know--at lesat SHE wasn't going to be attacked by any grindylows. If one grabbed onto HIS leg however, he already decided he would just shake it until it fell off. That should work, yes?

"CHRIS! Come over here!" he added, beckoning his fellow Gryffie over as the girl did so as well. "You have to protect m--I mean US--from the Grindylows!"
