William finally had the nerve to head up to the gargoyle entrance, knowing that's where he would be needed. He had to do something; those merwomen who were in the second floor corridor were now here, attempting to break into the headmasters domain. not going to happen. with the bubble head charm off now he walked into the room, his eyes searching out the closest danger. For right now he needed to be safe, but he also needed to protect the gargoyle.

Stopping in front of the gargoyle, his breath coming out in gasps he eyed the merpeople, their tridents and spears looking menacing. Well he could look menacing too.
