Jack practically ran up to the front desk, but slowed his pace out of fear of getting yelled at by Kohan. Once he got up there and caught his breath, he looked around before addressing her.
"D'you happen to know where Prefect Greingoth and Reese Upstead are? I'm supposed to be meet up with them to look at some Merperson book..." he said, wondering if he should have mentioned that last bit. Oh well, too late now--but surely this wasn't a surprise to her? Didn't everyone show a bit of interest in the mermen now?
