Then, when she came back, Jake couldn't help but make a face of disgust at the potion he was being made to taste. There was no doubt about it... the thing was disgusting. At first shaking his head no, Jake stopped himself when Professor Morgan mentioned the hospital wing and he immediately reached out for the phial.
And stared at Professor Morgan.
"It's icky," he stated, not yet drinking it.
But before turning away to answer the door, she felt the need to make one thing clear. "By the time I get back from that door, I will expect it to be finished. In its entirety," she said, putting emphasis on the last word. She was far beyond her normal tolerant, patient self with this one. It would do him well to learn that sooner rather than later.
Without another word, she marched over to welcome her newest guest. "Good morning. Please come in," she said with a smile.
